Oluwaseun Sulaiman Saidu

Dr. Saidu is an alumnus of the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. He earned his PhD. from INCEIF University. Amongst other qualifications, he holds a First Class Honours Bachelors degree in Economics, Masters degree in Development Economics and Policy and a doctorate in Islamic Finance, the first Nigerian to hold a PhD. in Islamic Finance. He has both industry and academic experience. He is a seasoned academic with over 8 years experience in teaching and research. He has taught economics, finance, Islamic economics cum finance and development policy in various universities of good standing and has equally conducted researches in similar fields. His consultancy experience spans across two continents. He has worked with professorial colleagues in conjunction with various organizations of worth on various projects in the field of (Islamic) economics and finance cum development policy. Specifically he has provided industry solutions in the area of voluntaristics, microfinance/Islamic microfinance, banking/Islamic banking, Wealth Management/Islamic wealth management, Capital Markets/Islamic capital markets, Accounting/Islamic accounting, Macroeconomics/Macroeconomics for Islamic finance, Business Studies/(Islamic Business Studies)Fiqh Muamalat, Usool-Fiqh and Qawaid Fiqhiyya, Law of Contracts/Islamic law of contracts, Quran and the Economy, Financial econometrics and Corporate finance. He his also involved in general educational consultancy in the areas of curriculum development and establishment of educational centres. His current research interest is the area of Islamic interpretation of social sciences cum humanities amongst other areas
